The following boogie board shot was taken this year on a family vacation off the coast of Maui. I had been looking for reasons to play with a new Canon 15mm Fisheye that I had previously only used at events, and this was my 1st attempt using it outdoors. I actually shot this laying in the water, inches away from this cheap store bought board. We had a blast that day, and i quickly found out what it was like to hit the beach at high speeds and then fight to keep my shorts above my ankles going ass over tea kettle.
This image has brought some favorable feedback to me from both photographers & clients as I have used this in both brochures and flyers. Have also been recently contacted for the rights to use this image in other Marketing.
Just thought I would post a link, please feel free to leave feedback. Thanks for looking……

DT Exposures visited the top Volleyball teams in the North West at CEVA’s (18U) Power League tournament in Salem at the HOOP. These are the top teams in what is known as the Columbia Empire Volleyball Association (OR/SW Wa) and are as explosive as it gets at the club level of volleyball. The lighting here is better than most dungeons at the HS level, but still had to be shot at ISO 3200 with a 135mm 2.0 wide open to have any chance at getting a ball in focus. These girls hit the ball harder than you can ever imagine. We can attest to that as my spouse took a deflected ball to the face sitting on the sidelines and almost went out for a hardwood floor nap. “I think I will save those details for a later date
“.
Anyway, if your into to VB and/or indoor sports photography, check out the following pages and gallery’s we did for 3 of the premier clubs here in the NW.
NW Juniors 18U Elite & Power teams. (CEVA Ranked 2nd & 3rd of 51 teams in the region)
Alpine (18U) Aces. (CEVA ranked 8th of 51 teams in the region)
Asics Athena 18U Alpha (Ceva ranked 11th of 51 teams in the region)

As a freelance photographer for Time/Trans World Media (QUAD Magazine) I was pleased to have had a couple (2 pager) shots make national print again for 2008. This is not a easy task with all the current competition in the ATV industry to say the least. At almost 47 years old, I am a full time dad, husband, banker, and am unable to travel to events due to ties with work, sports, etc….. Life is good, and priorities have changed
For what its worth, I though I would post 3 trophies from the year
