CEVA’s Top (18U) Volleyball
March 17, 2009DT Exposures visited the top Volleyball teams in the North West at CEVA’s (18U) Power League tournament in Salem at the HOOP. These are the top teams in what is known as the Columbia Empire Volleyball Association (OR/SW Wa) and are as explosive as it gets at the club level of volleyball. The lighting here is better than most dungeons at the HS level, but still had to be shot at ISO 3200 with a 135mm 2.0 wide open to have any chance at getting a ball in focus. These girls hit the ball harder than you can ever imagine. We can attest to that as my spouse took a deflected ball to the face sitting on the sidelines and almost went out for a hardwood floor nap. “I think I will save those details for a later date
